Description
Space Travellers is a unique open-world sandbox space simulator. You have complete freedom of decision and movement. You can travel to familiar places in the Solar System and adjacent systems, or explore over 6000 unexplored distant worlds.
All planets can be landed on and explored. Explore the universe, there are plenty of adventures waiting for you! Travel planets, cities, trade, fight, build factories and bases, colonise. You will also encounter alien life forms and experience many dangers.
History
1957 – The first artificial satellite, Sputnik 1, is launched.
1961 – The man flies into space for the first time. His name was Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin.
1969 – The culmination of the Apollo program. On July 20, 1969, humans set foot on the surface of the Moon for the first time. Neil Armstrong was the first man to step on the surface. He uttered the memorable phrase: That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
1990 – The U.S.A. sends the Hubble Space Telescope into Earth orbit to begin exploring the distant universe.
1996 – Intensive exploration of Mars began with several missions sent by the U.S.A.
1998 – The International Space Station (ISS) begins construction. All major space agencies were involved in the construction. The station was operated until 2040.
2008 – SpaceX’s first private spacecraft launches.
2013 – The Voyager 1 spacecraft becomes the first man-made object to leave the solar system.
2035 – Private companies’ share of spacecraft operations exceeds 50%.
